Water is one of the most important things on Earth. We drink it, wash with it, cook with it, and even play in it! But do you know what? Every drop of water is precious. It’s easy to forget how important water is when we have plenty of it, but there are many places where water is hard to find. That’s why every drop of water really counts!

🌍 Water is Limited

Even though water covers most of the Earth’s surface, only about 1% of it is fresh water that we can drink and use. The rest is saltwater in the oceans. So, there isn’t as much fresh water as we might think.
Tip: This is why we need to use water wisely and never waste it.

🚰 The Struggle for Clean Water

In many parts of the world, people have to walk long distances just to find water. Sometimes, the water they find is dirty and unsafe to drink.

• Villages in some countries can only get small amounts of water, and people have to share it.
• In some places, people use water from rivers or wells that can be polluted by garbage or germs.

When we waste water, it takes away the chance for someone else to have enough clean water.
