Clean Water for All – Awareness Hub
A project by Jordan Crossers Schools – Matugga, Wakiso
Category: Junior | Uganda Website Projects Competition 2025

Problem Statement

Many children in Uganda lack access to clear, engaging information about clean water, hygiene, and how their everyday actions impact water safety. Without age-appropriate education and digital tools, they miss the opportunity to understand the importance of safe water, proper sanitation, and their role in protecting it. This knowledge gap contributes to poor hygiene habits, water-borne diseases, and limited community awareness.

🌟 Vision

To raise a generation of young water ambassadors who understand, value, and protect clean water through education, creativity, and digital innovation.

🎯 Mission

To create a child-led digital platform that promotes clean water, hygiene, and environmental care by empowering learners to share knowledge, explore water-related science, and inspire their communities through the use of ICT tools.

🧼 Why This Website Was Created

Clean water is a basic human right, yet many children in Uganda and across the world are unaware of how water becomes unsafe, or what they can do to keep it clean and use it wisely. At Jordan Crossers Schools, we believe that children have the power to lead change when given the right tools and support.

This website is part of our broader initiative to integrate ICT into learning and problem-solving. It allows pupils to express their knowledge, creativity, and leadership in a digital space that is interactive, educational, and inspiring.
